My first hybrid poetry piece ‘Werewolf at the Dentist’ is now available to read in the Halloween issue of Rawhead: A Journal of Art and Literature!

A short horror poem about the defanging of the queer rights movement and the descent towards a “safer” and more corporate-approved image of queerness, ‘Werewolf at the Dentist’ sits atop of a black and white lino print of a hollow, broken tooth.
I’m very excited to have this poem out in the world. I originally wrote it as part of a horror poetry collection that was ultimately rejected, so it’s nice to have one of the pieces break containment and hopefully find an audience.
It’s packed with fiction, nonfiction, poems, art and hybrids, so there’s plenty to dig your teeth into.
